Here is some general information concerning the projects and presentations, specific information for either are below.
Remember experiment do not always work as expected, but often times it is the failures that are most interesting. We are interested in descriptions of what strategies worked an what didn't in your groups experiment.

Paper
The paper portion of the final project should consist of a 5-10 page journal style article describing the laboratory experiment performed. The paper will be written in the style of the journal http://chaos.aip.org/. Detailed instructions below
Papers should be self contained research articles containing
- motivation
- background and theoretical predictions
- experimental methods
- results
- discussion of results
- conclusion
